A. The mission of Abundant Life Church is to make disciples who are connected to the body, disciplined by relationship, developed in ministry, and released in purpose.

A. ALC is affiliated with Global Alliance Networks - a non-denominational organization that offers ordination and oversight for pastors, missionaries, and churches.

A. Abundant Life can be classified as Charismatic. The word Charismatic comes from the Greek word "charisma," meaning gifts. At Abundant Life, the expression of the gifts of the Holy Spirit are a part of our gatherings. Prophecy, words of knowledge, tongues, interpretations, etc., may all occur in any gathering.

A. You can expect to be greeted at the door with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. Our service begins with engaging worship that lasts approximately 45 minutes, which allows for the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, followed by the pastoral sermon, which lasts about 45 minutes to an hour. Children's ministry is available to children ages two to twelve.

A. Prophetic words or testimonies during the worship service must first be vetted by leadership to ensure that what is shared is within the boundaries and flow of the service.

A. ALC is a multi-generational, multi-cultural church. All are welcome.

A. Regular weekly Bible study, Women's ministry, Spirit Life meetings, and various outreach ministries that occur on a yearly basis are available. Examples: include Bible Reading on The Circle, National Day of Prayer on The Circle in Georgetown, VBS, The Way Forward, and provisions for the homeless.
We partner with the following community outreach programs: Zoe's ministry, The Green Beret Project, Sussex Pregnancy Center, Sheppard's Office, and The Son Spot.

A. All volunteers in the children's ministry are members of the church, have completed state and federal background checks, and have completed a safety orientation class.
