What to Expect:
This is a missions trip day for active youth group members & youth ministry helpers.
Carpool leaves Abundant Life Church parking lot at 6am on Saturday, August 2, 2025, and returns at 7pm.
We will be in small teams for the day. Stay with your team at all times. If Mrs. Hannah.or a team leader asks you to do something, you need to do it without hesitation.
Youth & helpers pay $35 online registration due 7/13 which covers all travel expenses, meals, and drinks. Helpers who are carpool drivers pay $20 online registration. Bring additional money if you would like to buy a souvenir or a yummy boardwalk dessert!
Everyone will minister to strangers at Son'Spot as we are serving food, cooking and cleaning. We will also be sitting & eating with them as we look for ways to minister to them the way Jesus would. We will have Bible Time at Son'Spot after serving breakfast. Later, everyone will pray with strangers during boardwalk evangelism as we give away our paintings. We will have free beach time together in the evening.
What to Bring:
Wear sneakers in the morning and wear sandals for the beach evening.
Wear your bathing suit in the morning under your clothes and wear your PURPLE youth group t-shirt on top!
Long hair must be pulled up while working with food at Son'Spot.
Everyone must wear a shirt over their bathing suit during beach time.
Pack a backpack!
Bring a towel & beach sandals.
Bring a FULL change of clothes for after beach time, and plastic bag.
Bring 1 or 2 disposable bottles of water... so we have no cups left behind!
Bring sun protection (hat, sunblock, sunglasses, etc.)
Bring a scripture written down for reading on stage at Son'Spot
